Thanks guys for the nice article on the Cascade Locks Rendevous at Thunder Island. It was nice to see the article on this rende and a great photo of Raunchy and Liska. Raunchy and Liska really work hard organizing this rendevous and supporting many other rendevous throughout the NW. They are a tremendous resource for primitive skills. In the last five years , Primitive Archery interest has really increased at these rendezvous. Nowadays most rendezvous include a primitive archery shoot in their events. Partly because of support from various primtive archers, like myself. I was pleasantly surprised to see a photo of myself, including a paragraph on my primitive archery display and horseback archery activity. I don't think I have ever seen a photo of myself in any magazine. I still do some primitive archery and flintknapping, but horseback archery consumes most of my spare time.
