A rather tall fellow at work is asking me to make him a longbow, and he draws a true 30". I have a suitable HHB stave and am thinking that 72" ntn should do it. 1-1/2" or 1-3/4" limb width - flat belly

Keep the width for most of the limb then taper to narrow nocks, or use a straight taper from the fades?? I know that there are options here, but I'm going for durability / shootability.
I welcome any and all advice and suggestions - Thanks, Mark
