My wife and I are planning a trip in July to fish the Black Canyon below the Ranger station. We're going to take the 2000' climb down to the Gunnison river to flyfish for the browns and rainbows in this blue ribbon stream. If any of you have made the trip,or fished other sections of the river,(in July),I would surely appreciate any information on hot patterns,plus general stuff like,leader,or tippet sizes,or any special,or, area specific techniques.
