Guess I won't use this for my trade bow but it has held up nicely so far, don't want to take a chance though :-\Thanks all for looking-Hammertime

Man do not go that route. You are shooting that bow. It is unique. I can say if you had my name, I would LOVE to get that weapon. It is unusual bows like this one that really makes the trade in my opinion.

Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

dont get me wrong hammertime,
im not saying that you shouldnt use it for your trade bow
personally i think the limb design is cool like that

you asked why people thougt it may break
i posted what i thought the reasoning behind it would be
not saying it will fail, hell it may out last all of use
sorry if i upset you in any way, wasnt trying to  ;)
i always wanted a harley, untill it became the "thing to ride"

Like I said, hickory should stand it better than most woods. If you have shot it a lot there is no reason to think it will not last. I just have not got the cahones to try it myself yet. ;D I"d be happy to get that as a trade bow too.
