Three years ago I quit making bows. A week ago I found a piece of wood of ash in my classroom , I work as a teacher in Sweden.
I decided to make a bow during my sparetime. I thought I forgotten to teach the wood to be a bow but it worked out quite good and it was fun to shoot again . Today I found a pice of hickory and I will also try to make a bow out of it a D bow I think I have cut it out and it will not bend at all but I will go on ..................
Greetings from Sweden
photo of my last bow 74" 40 poun draws 30" smooth as ..... no stack

Good job on your bow. Could you share with us images of your bow unstrung (unbraced), braced, and the handle and tips.
Tak!

The bow looks great. I'm glad you have decided to get back into building bows. It is relaxing and gives me a change of pace. As a teacher I am sure you could use something relaxing once in a while. Justin

That bow looks right on! Looks like an ELB profile - that's my next project after the other two I have going.

You did a great job of teaching the wood to be a bow! The tiller really looks good... welcome back and let us see more of your teachings!
