Scott, no worries on the payback, just seeing you progress with your abilities is more than enough payment.

I will most likely make Mojam, I have only missed a couple of them and it's only 1 1/2 hours from home.

Got one done today. Of course, it's not nearly as good as any already posted, but I'm somewhat pleased with it. I'll have to get some pics up later since I left my camera at home.

made this one yesterday. i never make serrated points, it's hard to get em right. next time i'll space them out a bit more and try to make them more pointy

that looks very good rwaterman!
Dont space them anymore thats very good, you can use a sharp bone or a nail notcher and make them sharp.

Why is it that the ring finger always has a bandaid on it? I have cut that finger two times this week in the same place!

that finger usually ends up in the spot were most flakes detach from the bottom side of the bi face during thinning.

hmm i figured my ring finger always got cut because: the gods of flintknapping are trying to cut that wedding band off. they know that the honeydo list keeps me from knapping sometimes:)

Well I didn't post a pinetree last month so I put the dalton in one of my pine baskets

It's a keokuck ,put on some bluegrass this AM and beat it out
