Thanks Nate!

Thanks beetlebailey!  It is REALLY easy to carve it is very soft and easy on the tools... you have to be careful you don't take off too much during tillering sessions.  Ipe is like twice as hard as this stuff. If you found a place that has it then it is definitely worth picking up some... I have found that the yellow-er the board the denser the wood is too.

Thanks NTProf!  Good luck with yours!

Thank you rossfactor, that was a very nice thing to say.

Thanks Parnell!

Thats a a real nice bow. I really like that yellowheart wood. On your Hickory backings are you using quarter sawn boards or flat grained boards to get your Hickory strips?  Thanks for sharing. Dean

Sweet bow Josh...I've not seen much Yellowheart before this one and I have to admit I like the combo a lot!  I'll need to check some local wood shops and see if they stock any.  Full draw pic ROCKS!

That bow looks sweet!!! I love the looks of the bow. I only see one thing wrong: the arrow is being drawn on the wrong side!!! LOL ;D ;D
