It's been a while since I posted a hickory bow.This one is a little shorter than I usually build,so with that difference ,I decided to post.Mockernut Hickory,@ 6" diameter.50#@26". It is 62" tip to tip,(the typical hickory I build is at least 68").It is 1 5/16" at the fades,and 5/16" at the string nocks. 8" of the handle section is static. Tip overlays,glue-on arrow rest,black dye on the handle and back,then lightly sanded off the high spots.Dyed calfskin grip. Holds 1" reflex,and is quite fast,and very quiet.
