pump drill

Anybody ever make a pump drill? I completed my first one yesterday. The most unique thing is that it can be taken down. ;D

I've never made on myself, but have had the chance to use one.  Very cool tool, I'm far too lazy to make one, so I stick to the hand drill.  Any chance you could post some pics of your drill.  Are you using it for fire or drilling holes?

  Very cool tool, I'm far too lazy to make one, so I stick to the hand drill. I know what you mean by lazy. Most of the lashing is done with duct tape. ;D

I made this one last year to display at our Cherokee display  Chief started a fire with it last week during a demonsration,it will drill holes as well  couple more pics at www.floridacherokee.org
