Actually 54" nock to nock instead of the 52" I thought it was. It's kinda scary cause I made the string of stinging nettle. Made out of 8 strands of thread I spun using a drop spindle. I only weighted it to 40# at 18" cause I was little scared of the string breaking, but it's holding up. I just broke my favorite bow weighting it yesterday also, so I'm kinda jumpy,
. It's heavy but it will loose weight after sanding it. After unstringing it has 3" set on one limb and 2 1/2" on the other. Also, I don't how far I draw it but probably around 25" in the fulldraw. It shoots fine, but the nettle backing added a substantial amount of "physical" weight purely from the tightbond. I definitely do not like it and will not try it again. But it seems to work. It's hard to tell it it's hinging or not here and there because of the limbs twisting, the levers aren't straight either and one kind of bends because it's stressed a little to the side ensted of straight on from being twisted, so thats also scary.
It looks like theres a hinge on one side, but when I turn it over it looks perfect from the other side. Overall I did a horrible job on this bow and screwed alot of things up and am tired of messing with this one. Anyway, there yall go my first molly.
