Naw, it was just was like that. It actually has some twist in it too on one limb, kinda reminiscent of that twisty bow posted a while back, hope that works out. I was thinking of backing this bow with sinew, and the other short mollegabet with nettle, but use sinew glue on both. At first I was thinking of using tightbond on the nettle backing. But then I have read accounts that using tightbond with sinew did not give the same results like reflex when drying as much as using the traditional hide glue, so I figured I might as well use hide glue (sinew glue) for the nettle backed one too. Haven't got what I want to do carved out in stone or anything, but this is what is on my mind currently. So I guess I am going to be "dog treat" backing a bow, with "dog treat" glue, lol I will surely let yall know how
that goes.
