New over here in these parts, usually hangout over at trad gang so a big HOWDY!

Anyway, I started on a yew stave awhile back and had it roughed out and scraped the back down to ring or two.(tough business right there LOL) Got it floor tillered today andn heated some reflex in and got it bending to about 18" braced at about 4.

Looks good so far. I'll post some pics in a few days and we'll get it shooting. I got so wrapped up in it today I think I might have her done in a few weeks. We'll see how that goes ;D.

I flipped the tips today. I'm gonna round me up some buff horn to do tip overlays and under lays on the curves. Gonna back her with choke cherry bark. I'll post some pics in a few days I have to somewhere that I can get a good internet connection on my laptop. Out here in the stick all I got is dial up and it sucks. Gonna be a beauty for sure.

It took some set already and I lost my reflex but I kinda expected that and planned to put it back in before final tiller and get a good heat treat on the belly. This bow has got me fired up and I am excited to get it done.

Glad to be here Pat. Keenan, it's always good talking to a brother in Christ.

Well I have done all I can until my horn gets here so I guess I'll stop long enough to get some pics up tomorrow.

mouthwatering is right Keenan. I can feel my back muscles and release fingers twitching. I do nee to remember PATIENCE as I get ready to sneak up on perfect tiller. Man I hope I get to excited.LOL
