first try at corner notches

First try at corner notches.  I did side notch last time.  I kept nicking off the little ears.  I am going to have to be more careful.

yes out in the backyard and down the hill. This is heat treated.

Looks good man! Looks like your working that rock just fine. All the girls loved that stuff cause it's kinda pinkish :).

Thanks all, I think I am going to try the narrow entry notch next it looks kinda hard but I really like the look. Any advice before I start guys?

Its funny I met Jim and he is awesome!  The guy is so friendly and loves what he does amazing what he can do! Great job on the notching!  If u use a horseshoe nail or u make a notcher u can use a steel nail and flatten and file it down like a horseshoe nail u can get real thin notches... also try to punch them in Sawfiler had a punch notching thread was really cool!
