Well our recent litter of Chocolate Lab Puppies are just about ready to strike out into the world.
But I've been having some trouble with AKC getting their papers...

Well, take a look at their snouts!
I could see where someone might not think they're labs....  >:D

Well I told my Lab female to stay away from that dang Badger-Duck...
But I'm starting to think she didn't listen...

They do like water... :)

Heck, I couldn't resist when I ran across that Platypus photo, the color was Spot On with the puppies... :)

Here they are, eight weeks old today.
Shouldn't have nearly the trouble registering this litter as I did the Badger Duck... :)

And the old paw in the water trick worked like a charm...  >:D

Nice looking litter of duck fetching machines! I'm real partial to the two dark colored pups- remind me of past water fowling companions that I liked bunches!!

I'm telling ya fellas...

They've been living on the Patio for the last month.
Have had to keep them under cover as we have a Large Bird of Prey population this time of year.
But the puppies are finally big enough to move to the side yard.
I am beyond tired of scooping poop and mopping up pee...   :o

They are really Macking Down on the grub now and growing like crazy.
And of course, tearing up everything in their path... :)
Working on putting the cross fence up to cordin off half the yard for them today.

As cute as they are I think I am OVER puppy cuteness for a while.

The two dark chocolate pups, one male and one female, have a white stripe on their chests.
I'm planning on keeping the male, I hope he likes guns and the fetch.

Got all my paperwork together on the parents yesterday.
Plan to register the litter tonight.
Then they will be ready to go!
Thank The Maker!
hahaha... whew... :)

Hopefully I can find buyers for them Cipriano...
I'd hate to have to eat one...   >:D
