Hickory bow backing

For you that use hickory as a bow backing, how much difference is there in using kiln dried lumber vs air dried?  Or for that matter as bow laminations as well?

     I've used both, have not noticed any difference at all. Once it's been around the shop a couple of days it's all at the same relative humidity....
