WTT CA Buckeye Hand Drill Sets
« on: February 26, 2011, 12:42:11 pm »
I have a bunch of extra hand drill sets I made that I would like to trade.

These sets are made from California Buckeye.  Both the hearth and hand drill are Buckeye.  This wood combo is one of the easiest/best combos to start a friction fire with.  Also when both the hearth and hand drill are made from the same species of wood they wearout much more evenly giving them a longer life.

The hearths are about 9" x 2" x 7/16"

The hand drills will be a minimum of 17" long.

I wanted to take a pic of the shortest hand drill I had on hand.  All the had drills will be 17" or longer.

Anyhow I'm looking for just about anything in trade.  Send me an email with offers!

thanks
