Wow, 3 more already.  That young man is quite the snake helper.  I really had fun this weekend, hope he did too.  Can't get over how he could shoot that little bow.  Anyway, those look like really nice skins.

1 I don't have a clue about...

Now there's something I can bring to the forum.  I was a biology major in college and I'm usually pretty good at snake I.D. if it's native to TX.  Shoot me a close up pic and I'll give it a shot.  At the very least I can make something up that sounds cool.   ;D

Wow, those chicken snakes are really eating the eggs.  No wonder they hate them.

George,

Each snake had eggs in it, but two had at least 5 eggs a piece.  One snake had what appeared to be the contents of an entire nest.  Little baby nestlings... It was gross, and yucky and slimy.. I felt like I had had enough snake skinning for a while... YUCK!!!  and I aint squeamish 8)

Hey C, I used to put golf balls in the nests in the chicken coop to encourage the young pullets to go in there to lay eggs.  Bet your snake had indigestion...well, before it died.  >:D
