They really do become a part of your life, that's why we feel such loss in their absence. Sorry you lost your buddy, terriers are a house full of dogs condensed into one small package. Makes the loss even harder.

sry to hear of your loss.
it's sad dogs dont live longer but on the other hand if he out lived you he would have to find someone who loved and cared for him as much as you did.
i was real sick once and worried my head off about what would become of my dog if i wasnt there for him.

Now its reality! Yesterday we had to go to Paulas doc. Shes now in dogs heaven, may be she meets your Jackie there.
She had water in her lung, which didn? t go, although she got some medicaments.
Last Tuesday on the morning walk with the dogs my wife came back and told me the dog laid down in the grassin.
She had to carry her back home, because didn`t want to walk no more. Paula was breathing very much and the doc made a radiograph on which he saw only a little bigger heart as normal, which would be okay for a dog of 11 years. Hearts grow, when they get older.
Now, yesterday we had lay her down in the cold and wet earth... We are dumpish!
After we looked some pics of our little dogs today, we discovered that the blanket she was lying as a baby, is now her shroud...

Chin up Hillbilly   We'll be seeing them rascals on the other side. I have out lived four fine dogs and feel sure that I will have them all under foot again.(God willing)

Uwe, I love that photo of your dog.  The bright, alert look on her face is wonderful.  I bet you have a thousand stories of good times shared with her.

Yes, she seems to be a very intelligent one. Nearly 10 weeks old she is already apporting things and is a little fighter. Think muskrats and stuff like this will have a hard life in the future.
This little Jack Russell baby was the smallest among her brothers. Her parents as well as her grandmother were to be seen- all in good condition. So we think, we have made it correct.
