Correcting a bent bow?
« on: February 21, 2011, 11:02:30 am »
Here is the deal.

A year or so ago Manny and I did a trade.  I sent him some braintan and he sent me a bow made of guava.  He is in HI and I am in KY.

Due to the humidity changes and my own stupidity.....I pulled it out finished it with spar and wrapped a handle on it.

When I strung it....I got a nasty surprise!  The top limb had warped......and it isnt shootable.

Any chance or correcting MY mistake?
