I agree bout the black walnut. I'm still shootin the snot out of the one you sent me. As mentioned above that's a dang good pull for a shorty.

How does the Mrs. feel bout pullin that shorty in the house ;D ;D? Mine gets a little nervous...but that might be because I put a telephone pole in the wall of my den ;D ::) ;D

That's awesome Rich! I've been tryin to get that kind of draw out of a shorty for some time. Lots of snap, crackle, and pop is all I get, and I'm not talking about the cereal. :(.  Would you be willing to share the dimensions. I've been wanting to make myself a bow thats short enough to shoot out of my kayak for a float hunt. Once I figure out the bow, then I can focus on replacing that plastic boat with a birch bark canoe ;D.

      I'll check all my photos and see if I can get those dimensions for you.....the bow is on the way to Maine so I cant throw the calipers on her. If I cant I'll make up a drawing, sir.

talk about bang for your buck, Rich you can get more draw out of less wood than any one ive seen.just GREAT.
