This is another little NA style bow thats on the way to Maine. Black walnut, no backing 49" ttt with pin knocks, 43# @ 27". shoots really smooth. The bow has very slightly recurved limb tips (steam bent) gonna leave it up to Warren to decorate as he sees fit. The finish is the usuall spruce pitch and grease.

just something a little different

Real nice Rich!

If it doesn't rap the lintel, it might not be a longbow.

Thanks, Frode, HickoryBill, and JohnK....I agree about the black walnut, have made self bows up to 65# with it, it's outstanding as a bow wood, far as I'm concerned.

That is one nice little bow! Aside from an occasional Molly, short bows are what gets me going to make bows. Love it...

Cool little bow, Rich. Getting 27" out of a 49" bow is a pretty good feat. Well done!

JB,....Neither one, sir. I make all of my bows from fully quartersawn wood that I cut for myself....well my friend owns the mill saw.

John K, damned I hope so, It's been so cold here that I removed the upper pully cover on the band saw because I have to manually start it turning....that's pretty cold for this old man ;D
