from the bone pile not bom
« on: February 09, 2011, 05:42:04 pm »
this is the result of an experiment taken after going thru my deceased bow pile, had two limbs that almost matched up and thought I'd try to build a three piece, here's what I gotit's all hickory except for the walnut washers, 52# @ 29", 62" ntn, camo'd using Dirty Dan's Turkey feather method

thank's guy's, the camo is really easy to do, basically just take some turkey tail feathers, use the small one's ya can't fletch and use the tip to drag, pat and such to get the effect, Bub

That is a great save. I'm with everyone else, the camo is working. If I did'nt know the story I would think it was a commercially made bow. Nicley done.  Danny
