The Seventh Annual Oklahoma Selfbow Jamboree
March 17-20, 2011
Held on the Ed Rutter family farm near Perkins, there is a 3 acre pond next to the camp site, where those who wish can fish. A small covered pavilion will serve as the center of activities. Portable out-houses will be provided, and limited trailer camping is available. There is sufficient room for primitive (tent) camping.
Demonstrations/participations for building selfbows, BBO's, river cane arrows, and flint knapping is being planned. So bring your tools, etc.
We request that everyone attending bring something for the Clout Shoot prize table. The Clout Shoot promises to be challenging and fun. It will incorporate shooting over water, and have some bonafide Okie-Oak trees as hazards.
