I was looking forward to those pictures too.  I've wondered how the thumb ring worked (though I guess not hard enough to go research it).   That's really slick.  Thanks.

Eddie: Could you post a picture with an arrow, showing it's placement with the thumb ring.... Please

george, youd be surprised how few pictures there are of thumb rings in use.  ive spent a few nights as i was trying to build one and use one properly, looking for pictures.  most are old and out of focus.  these pictures however, are excellent.  i do second the motion for arrow on string picture

Eddie- how come you shoot right handed if you are left eye dominant?  My parents recently gave me my childhood compound and it was a righty. ???  I do almost everything lefty (including shooting) except write and I'm thinking that must have been pushed on me when I was younger...

Jeff, I'm right handed and learned to compensate for being left eye dominate. I'll get a picture with the arrow placement tomorrow. You can see it in the picture James put up.

Looks good Eddie.

What I don't understand is why you're all bundled up like that when there's isn't even any snow on the ground  :)

LOL, Marc. The snow was on the other side of the creek. Really, it wasn't that cold, except while I was shooting it and James trying to take pictures, it was sleeting. Standing there at full draw while James tried to focus the camera, with a thumb ring that didn't fit right, my thumb was going numb. We kept trying to get the arrow in the picture on the release, except Jame's reflexes have gotten slower the older he's gets.

Here's some pictures of the arrow placement. No snow under the orange tree, Marc. ;D

Thanks Eddie I see now. Ever try a thumb ring with a longbow? I didn't know if the string angle would have anything to with the way it works?
