it looks like to me that the brace height could be a fuzz higher but thats me. i like this one , very cool lookin bow. ruddy

thanks Wvarcher its was longer than usual i glued the riser and powerlam then sanded smooth , then added the maple core on the back of the riser and sanded smooth then added the back and belly and clamped to shape. little more in depth than most of mine.

Very cool bow. Have you tried top shoot it from a horse yet? My experience with shooting bows from horse back tells me that the longer the bow, the harder to shoot from a horse. My longest horse bow is 52'' my shortest is 42'' both are Indian style bows with short draws. Like the look of your bow so me thinks me going to try something similar but shorter and see what i get. Good job, Nice bow.Let me know how it goes when you try it on a horse.

They are holding up the corner of the man cave really well, thanks.  They oughta be pretty well cured and stabilized to our drier climate so I need to get off my duff and check the draw weights soon.  A buddy is planning a archery bunny hunt soon and I wanna use that snakebacked curley so-n-so real bad!!!

 Very sweet bow Ken. Love the lines, curves and beautiful contrast. Should make a great horse bow.  Great job on a rare style. i want to build another one like that. I did one about two years ago for Lulyn but it was a little underbuilt and ended up breaking,  She has been begging me to make another. ;) Congratulations

You might be surprised,Start shooting the bow from the ground around the horses so they can get used to the sound of the bow. We have shot bows off of 6 of the 9 we have. Let me know if you have any Questions about shooting bow on horseback (have a bit of experience with it), and above all else have fun with it.

its a thought wildkatt i have one i shoot around he stands with his head on my shoulder while shooting and he likes to smell the bow too. but then my 22 mag doesnt bother him either...nevers moves from the hay bail

I shoot pistols, rifles ,bows and about anything else i can find to shoot from horseback(lol)Let me know if you have any questions about it.
