found a clovis today

heres a clovis found today on my place and some more points that have all been found in the 13 acre clearing my house sits in . clovis was about 50 yrds from my house

the small point in the 4,5,6 pic is one of two single bevels i have found , and the big oneon bottom is a scraper i think

southwest GA, actually about 1 mile from Kolomoki Indian Mound State Park. wish i had the other 100 or more points that disappeared while i was in the Marine Corps.

Man Ken, Those are sweet. Must be nice to set back and wonder about them and actually handle some history......too bad they cant talk, eh?

I have seen 1000`s and 1000`s of points my good friend Mr Cater has found in Colquitt. All his were surface finds. You have some real good areas around there to find those

glad yall like these ive been picking them up for years every time it rains. very interesting to see the small serrations and some of the notches done without horseshoe nail punches like we use. of all the points found here i think the clovis point was the by far the most unusual.

one of the ones i found early on that is gone now was an adze ,that one was in excellent shape and a great find.
