« on: January 24, 2011, 04:31:04 pm »
This is my first try at makeing a point and it actually came out. aaron met up with me a while back and gave me some tips and worked with me a little and gave me some nice chunks of obsidian to work with in trade for takeing him to get some Ocean Spray darts and bow stave. Thanks aaron for the rock and pointers and to all on here for info.
my friends think my shops a mess, my wife thinks I have too much bow wood, my neighbors think im redneck white trash and they may all be right on the money!!

looking good. when your angles start to get steep dont push inward anymore. push at an angle and the flakes will travel farther.

I tried knapping long ago and quickly learnt that the best way to make a good small arrowhead was to start by trying to make a large knifeblade.

You've already surpassed my skill level!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
