I would narrow up a bit more for 35#, maybe 1 1/4" at the fades and 3/8" at the tips.

justin is probably right. for 35 pounds you want a bit narrowere than my given dimensions

justin s right maulberry is near same deminsons as osage but need s to be a tad wider s all brock
