Thanks Jawge!  -  the arrows are northern pine, 32" total with a 70-75# spine, self-nocks are shaped to snap on to string.

Frank, I just got around to seeing your new bow. WOW! You always display beautiful work, but this may be the best one I've seen from you yet.

Do you mind explaining your dye process....and forgive me if I somehow missed that in this posting.

Thanks,

Dane

Jawge, thanks again! - No, not hand-planed, got them from a German supplier and they are really nice quality! - Actually the new owner shot FG before, and it was a great moment when he came walking over asking me to make an Osage bow for him; he was - like others in my club - impressed by the speed and punch of my bow. His wife ordered the arrows for him as a Xmas pressent.

Dane, thank you, too! - The dye is Permanganate (a lot of strokes) for a really nice brown all over the bow and waterbased woodstain on the rawhide backing, sealed with TB3 worked over with steelwool. Finish is linseedoil based hardwax, many layers.

As mentioned above, tillering caused me some trouble; here is the pic of the 31" pull on the tree that some of you stated needs more bending on lower limb right out of the fade.
Below is how the final tiller came out, the pull here is something like 28". - couldn't do more about it, or the tiller would have flipped, but I guess it did the trick...
