Length for sinew

How long is to long for a sinew backed osage? Right now I am at 60'' ntn. Thanks Eric

It all depends on the draw length. The more stretch you get from the sinew, the more performance you get from the bow...to an extent. For a 28" draw, I think 60" or less is what you want.

For the record, I've backed a couple bows that were 66" or so but stopped short of the tips, about 10" short on each limb. The bows were reflexed and the outer limbs stiff and light. Never really pushed the design very far but the couple I did worked very well.
