Tiller critic needed

Friends,
I need new eyes on this one. This a rawhide backed Osage bow 59” NTN 54#@28” as it sits right now. The upper limb has a stiff section at approximately mid limb due to a big cat’s-eye knot. It has been a while since doing a shorter bow and everything looks stressed, including the bowyer.
Thanks Sean

The tiller looks pretty good. If you have got a bit of a stiff section due to the knot, depending on the size of the knot, you could tweak it down a bit, but I wouldn't bother as that tiller looks fine.

Having stiff spots because of knots is allowed. But frankly, it looks to me like you tillered through it nicely. If it were mine I'd be putting the handle wrap on it. Nice job.

Looks good to me also. Sometimes they have them flat spots, you are dealing with wood, not glass and lambs. Nice job.

Thanks for the input and kind words. It looks better to me after a good night’s sleep.
Medicine wheel the bow is basically straight in unstrung profile. The stave started out with 3 inches of natural reflex.
Thanks Again Sean
