Just because a handle bends doesn't mean it is going to be a shocky bow. But a handle that bends too much will shock I just finished an osage bow that bends in the handle, draws smoothly and shoots so quietly it may not need string silencers. Jawge

i can tell you this.. a laminated horse bow with long, non working siyahs will hand shock. wow, i love the thing, but i went back to shooting it, and i was like what was that?!?! i had forgot about the hand shock! lol
