Whats odd is that Pappy seems to be enjoying it.  And I noticed he had a bail bondsman on speed dial, but figured it was just a TN thing.

My wife called him out to check on me.  It seems I got so wrapped up working on my bow I forgot to call home and check in.  The Deputy is a friend of mine and we share the same line of work.  I was sort of embarrassed he came calling and all the folks were looking for me.  My dang cell phone went dead and I just got focused on the bow in my hands.

There is a lesson here some place I need to learn.   

Oh, and Pappy must have been in the search position once or twice before.

That's believable Jon, really.  Ya'll did see that lil sliver of smoke rising out of the that far hollar all weekend?  Yeah, that was a b-b-q fire.  Really.  Uh-huh.  Ya'll didn't notice how all those trucks and cars that were leaving riding on the rear axle?  Yeah, that was just bow wood.  Uh-huh.  LOL

Durned revenuers got Pappy but we saved the still so theres bail money on the way.

I did notice all the trucks were running on E85.

Yeah, Todd, my hoofs were pointing outwards and everything. Speaking of ethanol, I meant to grab a bottle of Greg's plum wine before I left, but I forgot to. Pretty good stuff.

We will save you some.I think he brought enough for all you guys and gals to have a bottle or 2.

Yeah Hillbilly, I had several bottles in a case by the fire Saturday night. I had been talking to your wife about making wine, and a girl friend of one of our club members was hanging around to. Some guy three sheets in the wind came around for the third or fourth time and was oggling the girlfriend...I thought it was probably time to get the wine out of the mix. I didn't get wine passed around to everyone as I would have liked.

This is Hillbilly's wife Tina.  I had a wonderful time meeting all yall. Joanie(Pappy's wife) great to meet you, look forward to seeing you next year.
Nice to meet others from  different locatations,  like Marius from Germany, Justin from Utah, and if I named everyone I could be here all night...It was a great shoot, and a very good time to meet and gather with people with the same interests. I really had a blast shooting with Pat, Dick, Jonathan, Colleen, Marius, Cody and my hillbilly hubby. Looking for arrows in the leaves is a wonderful treat...Where is the lost and found arrow bucket? Cody would like to know Thanks everyone  for a great time, we will be back next year!
PS- Loved the gravy and sausage biscuits.
