yes steve it is red elm mostly sap has a little of the heart wood on the belly. i wouldnt say it was light not as dense as osage but not light.Dean yes it was heat treated quite a bit one limb had nice natural reflex, the other a little,tried to match them but the one without wouldnt stay completly.oh yeah Steve i got the yuca from Sal,i think you probably know him.thanks to every one for looking and comenting.

Very nice bow and quiver!  You put alot of work into this set and it definitely shows~!   :)   Bookmarked for January Self BOM contest.
