Daughter's Christmas bow

Well I will say this was one of the hardest bows I've ever tillered. I've done some little kids bows before but none with flipped tips.
It is black walnut from a split off another bow. Tips are purpleheart. I backed it with some pink ribbon my wife had (it is actually pretty tough stuff and adds quite a bit of protection) put it on with 60 min epoxy. the handle is pink tape. I may wrap with some pink leather lace later.
Bow is 29" long and pulls around 9#@ 16". This was quite a bit of fun to make and more of a blast to see her play with it.

Now that is a nice one. You did a superb job on that one. I found out if you can make kids bows you can make big boy bows real good. Hardest thing for me to make is a kids bow. You really got to have it tillered just right. Dean

Hey that's really sweet, those low draw weights are a real pig to tiller.
I bet she loved that bow ;D.

Yes, beautiful little bow!!!
But she now needs a shirt with tight fit sleeves.
And camouflage hair ribbon...

Thanks guys for all the comments. I'm getting ready to rip another peice down from a sister stave to get one started for myself.

Yes that one is superb....great job on it. I may have to try one of those in the near future as I have a grand baby that is turning 4 pretty soon and willbe ready for her introduction to archery.    Danny
