I was up fletching arrows most of the nite because I couldn't sleep. I went out every ten minutes or so to see how things were progressing. When the umbra (I think that is what it is called) was about a quarter of the way across the moon you could see that it was brown from all the dust in the atmosphere. I was bumping up the resolution by using my Nikon 12X binos to cut thru the foggy cover we had. When it was 3/4 eclipsed the cloud cover moved in and hazed it over so bad I could no longer make out the mares and craters on the moon's surface. From there on out, there was nothing to see, sorry - no pun intended.
