Lovely bow...tiller looks spot on:-)

Im mainly a selfbow man, but is currently experimenting with laminates, so I have a question: How much reflex do you glue in to start with (my bows lose more than 50% when im done:-(.

Also I cant help but notice the background...thats a fortune in yew, som of the which looks like they could produce more than decent staves;-)

Never knew that Yew grew in Chicago areas....lived in Gurnee...and never seen any while living there....I know that they have Juniper in Yards for Landscape Trees...but there are no Stands of it growing...

We have Juniper here in peoples yards in the Texas Panhandle too...

I figured I would get a few responses about the yew  ;D  Didn't you all know we have world famous yew in Chicago  >:D  Mike, the pics were actually taken at the Aboretum.  That is my sanctuary from work ;)  They have about 4100 different species of trees and shrubs from over 40 countries and miles of hiking.  A lot of the trees are marked and in a classified section (ie you can go the oak area and see 20 different types of oak trees).  I was surprised to say the least when I came up on the Yews as I've only seen them in pictures.
