I'd rather tiller a bow in complete darkness using a bowling ball for a scraper than inlet another buttplate!!!!!

Eric was probably not exaggerating the 12 hour battle with his butt.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Just started another one, got a little work to do before I can shoot it. Hard to tell from the picture but this one is going to be an 12ga English fowler turkey gun with a 38", jug choked(full) barrel.

A little more on the work involved for a build.

The rear entry pipe was as challenging as the butt plate, looks like it would be easy but it was a real pain, 10 hrs at least to go from this.

Nice,...

I've been thinking of picking up an old 1870s Springfield trap door to hunt with.  Met a fellow about a year ago who collected them,..said he used to hunt with them.
