  I've always made pine pitch and varnish. I don't know why even though I seen pitch coming from ceders. I've never used it. Dose or has anyone made ceder pitch sure you can. Is it made the same is there any advanages.

I've never tried it but I would if I had some. Let us know how it woprks. No reason it shouldn't!

In my immediate vicinity there is a lot of red cedar. In fact right out my backdoor. Does anyone have any experience with it?
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.
