If it's glassed, I would fix the problem by building a self bow  ;)

it appears to be wood core with glass back and it is twisted braced / unbraced / and drawn...just enough for the lower limb to be off centerline...had it awhile and hate to chunk it, it is a very fast bow or was and i have made several bow's from hickory and osage but would still like to fix the problem if possible

I have watched Allen Corn straighten the limb on a glass re curve bu running hot water over the limb in the area he wanted to bend and flex it gently in that direction and hold till it cooled, not boiling just hot water out of the sink.It worked like a champ. :) By the way bubba where are you from,I use to know a guy years ago from around the Nashville,TN. [east of Nashville] by that name.    :)

Bubba, It's pretty easy to straighten one. Just twist the limb in the opposite direction and string it backwards for a few days. If it is still crooked, do it again.

I don't mind at all, I have over 30. If you can help it, don't use heat of any kind. Most of the time you can get a friend to grab one end and you the other and twist in opposite directions and hold for just a minute or so. Thei string it backwards for a few days.

Thanks, Tim. Bubba, I get a lot of bows at yard sales that are twisted. When I show the people selling them they are twisted and only good for Wall Hangers, I get them for a lot less.  ;D
