water proofing sinew backed hide glued bows

I know this is on the verge of impossible but I was wondering if anyone had acheived this without comprimising the hide glue. I was thinking of trying that cheap shoe water-proofer spray. Essentially its just a wax solution. Any thoughts?

hahahahaha!!! JW I have a "pet" python and lets just say he is not very nice. And I cant say I havent thought about tanning his butt.

No need to tan, snakeskin goes on as rawhide.  That's what I use as well.

You will never completely eliminate moisture from entering your bow. A bow built with natural materials will gain and loose moisture as the R/H goes up and down. Waterproofing will not eliminate this but it can slow down the rate of exchange and repel rain. Any good finish will repel rain but none will eliminate moisture uptake.
