now that the temps arent 100 anymore, ive finally gotten into the mood of straightening again.  ive got a bunch of river cane i cut this summer all dried up ready to be straightened.  ive just been waiting for a cooler temperature.  i tried to straighten a few of them this summer.. wasnt gonna do it inside and waste all that blessed ac, and it was way too hot outside, so i just gave up. youll be seeing some river cane arrows from me pretty soon.

Hey Ken,
A little of both, actually.  I still have some of the shafts you made me but want the ability to have more on demand.  I make a lot (well not compared to you) of bows for other people and it just pains me to see them shooting crappy unmatched carbons with plastic vanes on them, wanna be able to send some arrows when I gift a bow.  That and with the rocks and my crappy shooting I bust a bunch myself.  I'm saving the snakeskin payment option for some of those hickory boards you've got ;D

Lee, Sorry for the Thread Hi-jack, I'll take my beating now.

Thanks Acker. Most of these are common landscape plants so they should be available for everyone with a little research. With winter on it's way, many of these plants will be ready for their winter or early spring pruning.  ;D

man you guys are making some nice looking arrows
i hate making arrows
only part i like about making arrows(other than shooting them) is straightening them
other than that i hate making them, have the materials just no desire or patience for them
i only make enough for hunting each year, shoot crappy old ones for practice
but some of you seem to realy enjoy and have the skill for it
i always wanted a harley, untill it became the "thing to ride"
i ride because i love to,not to be part of the crowd
