I'm picking up some Osage logs next week and did not know how I should store them.
Should I split them or leave them hole if split 1/2 or 1/4 leave inside or out ?

 OZZY, I'd split them into quarters and seal the ends and store them at least under a covered area till they are dry.

Better be spraying the bark with a good insecticide or the beetles will turn your splits into swiss cheese.

I'd just split them in half for now so they don't twist. Aftewr a month or so you can reduce them farther. And, do as Eric suggested or the grubs will eat them up. :o

How long will they need to set if I put them in the garage. Bark on or off? Thanks for all the help.

A rule of thumb is 1 year per inch. If your stave is 2" thick it should cure in 1 year(1" from each side to center). You can reduce a stave or two to floor tiller stage and build your bow in a few months.
