first of all the belly wood in this and the r/d i did the other day im sure is brazillian redwood , TBB3 says it turns gray if not protected from UV rays the end of this board has done just that.
48 inch nock to nock gull winged hickory and B. redwood, handle is two strips same as belly with red oak between. fades 1 1/2 to 3/8th tips . this one finished 44# at 28 . and is a full draw bow arrow pictured is 31 "
i went with a arc of circle tiller on this one .. seemed to work well on the last . thanks for lookin hope ya'll like

Awesome colors sir!! I would love to see how that thing shoots IRL.  seems like a good one to tote around on long back packing trips because of tbe manageable size and weight. it could prolly handle bein braced for long periods no problem too, because of the low early brace.  Id love to make one to carry in the kayak with me.

aries thank you , u should try one the cast is suprising, and their easy to make couple blocks and a board to glue up and your in business. braceing for long periods wouldnt have any ill effect on this one

Nice Ken, Man, you are wearing that bandsaw out.

Another cool bow Ken.  I like seeing the experimenting.  That's a heck of a lot of bend on a 48" bow.  Nice Job!

I have an odd 40 in ipe board... maybe ill have to take a second guess about cutting it up into handle material ;D. I would be shooting for more like 24-26 in draw though. what is the thickness on your belly lam at the handle ken?

The arrow pictured is 31", right?  28" draw?  Another beauty, Ken.  You are a busy man.  You should be able to arm a small tribe.
