Owl bow makes meat.
« on: October 18, 2010, 10:51:06 pm »
I got a little button with the white oak/sinew Owl Bow this am.  There isn't a whole lot of it, but it'll sure be tasty. The Owl Bow drove a spruce shaft clean through both lungs.  I just gotta clean it off and maybe replace the fletching and it'll be good to go again.  Sharpen the head again, of course.

My dad just got back from an evening hunt and has his second doe of the season.  Looks like a good backstrap/chilli season.   ;D

Yeah, I don't own a camera except this phone camera thingy, and I dunno how to get pics up on here.  I've never been able to figure out the photobucket thing.  I have a picture of the X in the lung tissue up on facebook, but I haven't got it here.  I'll have to have another look or see if I can get a friend to help me get them loaded.  I am something of an anachronism as I hate hate hate computers for the most part.  I'm not very good with them.  Assorted hunting and flyfishing forums/sites are about all I do with them.   :-[
