Traxx it will full draw to 27inches i think i was starting to let down in the pic my 9 yr old was taking the full draw for me,also the deflexed tips allows for almost zero stress at brace so full draw is easier to achive...ill test this i just glued up an identical bow with 6inch recurves
thanks hammertime
Cam thanks im gonna walk her today ill let you know
thanks Randy, thanks Rich i have the advantage of bouncing ideas off a good bowyer

I'm thinking about giving that bow a try, how much bend did ya put in her, thinking about going 52" long, let me know, Bub

Ken,
Here is a point i have tried to make, many times in the past and you make my point exactly. Now that you have done a bow like this, you can understand my point more.
bubby i just glued it up backwards in my reflex deflex form.
Actually, you glued it up the proper way, cause it is a Reflex/Deflex.Glueing it up the other way, would make it Deflex/Reflex.
Are you seeing what im sayin?

Ken,
It tickles me to hear how you like this design. This design has gotten a bad rep from severall people,in recent years.i think if people would give em a chance, they would learn to understand and appreciate em more. Many Native Nations from throughout the country used em for many many years. They used em for a liveing.Maybe they knew something modern bowyers dont.

thanks straightarrow im gonna try it in a stand soon.
traxx it was my intention to make a full draw 49inch bow and this design just sorta happened ,after the glue up i decided it had the best chance for sucess since there was no preload at brace , im still amazed at the size of this thing and how much it draws and shoots like a serious hunting bow. the cast is as good as my long bows in the 50lb range . never thought a bow this small and with deflexed tips would be a favorite . theres going to be more of them

Ken,
Kind of a bumb question.....since the bow comes to full circle at draw and yet has the r/d thing going on do you think that might account for the cast" Curious cause I've never shot one.
