its light and is hollow I believe. Doesnt look good to me, but i never tried it so you never know.

Nope....Fig is a spongy wood....ain't.worth the time to mess with....had Fig Trees in the Yard in Costa Mesa....when you would prune a live branch....It was almost like cutting a Corn Stalk....or a Cattail...jmo.
