any specs for a homemade fletching burner?

does any one have specs on a homemade fletching burner? im no electrician and don't want to attempt to make on with out a layout.
build em...break em...sigh....build em....

You can make one using a soldering gun but I don't have plans.

I have been looking into the same thing.  One design I saw uses an old model train transformer and thin wire.  Another one uses a battery charger and thicker ribbon.  Google "making a feather burner" and see what you get.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Check the link, this is one i made and it works just fine. Ribbons you can get at 3rivers archery, just put 12v on them to get it hot (car battery, transformer) And DO NOT USE INDOORS  ;D

the easiest is to get a used iron and plug it in, put it on hottest, or linnen and you have a feather burner :D

thanks for the links im going to use a car battery charger. im wondering if a trickle charger will even work... im sure it will... but duh i can't believe that i didnt think about D/C, of course A/C won't work. looks like that s tomorrows project!
