a maple bow

hey guys heres a bow i made for my 13 year old brother its 50 pounds at 27 inches and is 63 inches long it has oak tip overlays and the arrow rest is built up leather widest point is 1 1/2 inches and tapers to 3/8s at the tips the close up on the handle is taken from the back of the bow the last 8 inches on each end are also slightly reflexed

Very nice.  You did a good job tillering that bow out.  Did you make it from the stave I gave you?

thanks guys and this is not the stave you gave me marc this is just a board but i was meaning to ask you, when i was tillering out the stave a spinter popped on the back about a foot from the tip its  pretty wide and about 3 inches long i  am not sure if its repairable though i want to give it a try cause i really liked this stave and i had put alot of time into it to get it the way i wanted, an ken thats just me pulling the bow im the lefty but i made the bow for the right :D
