White Oak, sixty two inches NTN, forty pounds at twenty eight, gift bow for a friend. Left the outer limbs a little heavier than normal, as my ham handed friend will no doubt use this as a bow/walking stick ;), so it has a slight bump in the hand when shooting.

Tiller isn't perfect, but as close as I could get on this one, without making it to light.

Wow nice bow Dave, tiller is excellent and really love the finish and dye job.  Got it bookmarked for September BOM too.  :)

Nice bow. A bow does make a handy stick as I've found over the last few days, I ricked my back but I've done a bit of work on my latest (for therapeutic reasons you understand O:)) the bow has been handy to help me up out of the chair...
It took me 3 days to let in an arrow plate!
Much better now and I've just put the leather grip on, I'll post some pics soon.

Thank you for the compliments Gentlemen.

Steve, I use simple Ritt Dye. Worked it in solid bands, and then blended all the bands together light color into dark color.

Del, looking forward to the pics. Good luck with your recuperation.

Ridge Runner, this one started it's life as a stave. Small diameter, it was halved, and only this piece was suitable to use.

I've glued on the floppy rest, sewed on the leather grip, and added Pom Pom silencers. The poms are the same size, but for some reason the one on the left looks smaller. I think it is just blending into the background. They were made from a multi colored wool yarn my wife had for one of her projects.

Good tiller. Nice blends... Very nice job!!!  What did you use to glue the rest on with?
